Cleaning and Maintenance
Mosa tiles are easy to clean and maintain provided the correct methods and products are used. There are two types of cleaning: initial cleaning; immediately after installation, and regular cleaning, when the space is in use.
Builders clean
A thorough builders cleaning is essential for a care free floor and starts during grouting. If the cement or grout residue is not fully removed it will result in stubborn patches of dirt and tiling that is very difficult to clean. A proper builders’ cleaning therefore promotes ease of maintenance with the preservation of the original appearance.

Maintenance and cleaning advice for consumers
Mosa tiles have a timeless character and will retain their original appearance for their entire useable life if looked after correctly. This is simple so long as a few pieces of advice are followed, such as making limited use of cleaning products.

Deep cleaning advice
Even floors cleaned regularly and correctly can in time form a residue film from limescale particles and cleaning agent residues left behind by the cleaning water. A floor that becomes dirty and patchy due to the formation of a residue layer can be restored to its original state by means of an intensive cleaning.

Professional cleaning and maintenance method
Mosa wall and floor tiles are modern, high-quality products with minimal moisture absorption. The use of so-called impregnating or protecting cleaning agents, or agents which otherwise leave a residue, is strongly discouraged, because it cannot be absorbed into the product and will therefore remain on the surface of the tile. This will alter the tile’s original exterior, and can negatively influence its anti-slip properties. In addition, the application of such a layer may create a source for stubborn stains and the maintenance problems which they entail.
